Transitional housing program for veterans, both men or women with children. Case management and extended services are available. Prefers referrals from social service center but will accept direct inquiries.
Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Public Housing programs. Must be a resident of the Dover area to be eligible.
Centralized Intake Clearinghouse program for many emergency shelters throughout Delaware. Call 2-1-1 or 1-833-FIND-BED (1-833-346-3233) to inquire and put your name on the call list. Overnight emergency shelter set up at churches, community centers, etc. during nights when harsh weather conditions like ice and snow are present and/or the temperature is 32 degrees or below; typically Nov. 15 through April 1. Usually includes a hot meal. Guests must leave during the day.
